Used Book Sale Fundraiser a Success
The Used Book Sale was amazing. I was amazed at the number of volunteers that came out to help us. Kathy Dennis, you are amazing!!!! It was a lot of work but we raised $4,354 so it was well worth it. Thank you also to Peggy and Tim Hay for all your help and to Kara Marshall too. My wild guess is that we had somewhere around 12,000 books.
I counted 160 people there at one time – WOW!
Book Sale on Friday Evening
Many people bought entire boxes of books and suggested we have another book sale next year so they could donate them back to us.
